Yogi Vemanna University was formerly known as Sri Venkateswara University Post Graduate Centre and was established in  2006 by an Act of the AP State Legislature. The university is located about 15 km away from the historic Kadapa City on the Kadapa –Pulivendula road. The YVU campus is spread across 652 acres with a built-up area of 78088.48 sq.mts. The university has received an A grade from NAAC with a CGPA of 3.13 out of 4. A total of 113 colleges are affiliated with the university.

YVU course list comprises UG, integrated PG, PG and doctoral-level courses. 30,000+ students have enrolled in the university so far. YVU admissions are done based on entrance exams. To take admission to the YVU courses, candidates need to apply, appear and qualify the CET. Apart from that, the infrastructure and facilities are maintained by the engineering, civil and electrical departments. Similarly, for the PG one-year programme and PG two-year programme, the median salary recorded was Rs 3.10 LPA and Rs 4.38 LPA, respectively.

Yogi Vemanna University scholarships are available to both meritious and needy students. There is also a minority cell that looks after the need of minority students. Yogi Vemanna University admissions are done through CET. Candidates can also take admission in YVU through spot admissions once they meet the eligibility criteria for the same. As per the YVU admission criteria 2023, candidates need to apply, appear and qualify the AP PGCET 2023. Similarly, candidates need to qualify the APRCET 2023 to take admission to the research programmes. Candidates must make sure that they meet the eligibility criteria set for the courses. YVU Admission Process 2023 through AP PGCET 

• Candidates must first and foremost meet the eligibility criteria for the courses.
• Candidates then need to visit the AP PGCET 2023 official website and register for the same.
• Candidates then need to pay the registration fee at any APonline centres or through payment gateway like Credit/Debit Cards/ Net Banking.
• Candidates have to download the admit card from the exam portal and download the same.
• After the exam is over and the result is out, the AP PGCET cut off 2023 will be released.
• A rank list will be prepared based on the cutoff. 
• Shortlisted candidates will be then called-in for counselling.
• At the counselling session candidates need to select Yogi Vemanna University as the preferred institute and get their documents verified.
• Candidates then need to visit the YVU campus where they need to pay the admission fee. This will mark the end of the Yogi Vemanna University admission process.

YVU Admission Process 2023

• Candidates who are willing to take admission in the PhD programmes, must meet the eligibility criteria set for the courses.
• Candidates then need to register for APRCET 2023 by visiting the official portal.
• Candidates then need to pay the registration fee of Rs 1300. Candidates must make sure that they keep a copy of the payment slip for future reference. 
• YVU also conducts its own entrance exam YVU RECET for admission to its PhD and M.Phil programmes.
• After the exam is over and the results are out, the YVU cut off 2023 list will be out. Based on the cut off, a merit list will be prepared which will contain the name of the shortlisted candidates.
• Apart from the performance in the entrance test, candidates will be evaluated based on research/teaching experience and academic record experience.
• The shortlisted candidates then need to visit the YVU campus and get their documents verified.
• Candidates also need to pay the YVU admission fee at this point.
